Ms. Benigna Boza-Kiss completed her MSc studies in environmental sciences and policy in 2005, at the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) where she continued to work as a researcher on energy end-use technologies, and on the policy-science interface developing evidence based policy support tools. She also worked at the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission and contributed to the development and assessment of the Energy Efficiency Directive. More recently, she worked as a consultant for the European Commission, UNEP, and the Regional Environmental Center among others. Her main research interest is in understanding the trends and dynamics of technology and policy developments in the area of sustainable development, climate change, SDGs, and their nexus with other fields.
